Jeanine Caroline Treffers-Daller is a professor of second language education and supervisor of PhD students at Institute of Education, University of Reading (UK). Currently she serves as Director of the Centre for Literacy and Multilingualism at the university. She is on the Editorial Board of several internationally known language journals.
Professor Jeanine Caroline Treffers-Daller specializes in Bilinguilism, Second Language Acquisition and Research Methods. Her research interests include statistical learning of motion event patterns, vocabulary learning and teaching, lexicalization patterns and the expression of motion events by L2 learners and bilinguals, etc.. She has published many papers in peer-reviewed journals,and published books Vocabulary studies in L1 and L2 acquisition: the interface between theory and application, Modelling and assessing vocabulary knowledge, etc..
